I commit to measuring and improving Diversity and Inclusion throughout my company on an ongoing basis, including the following areas:

1. DATA

Understanding the representation of different groups of people in our company, and how they experience work and culture, is critical to our business formulating an effective and actionable strategy for change. This data will also help us measure the impact of what we do whilst holding ourselves accountable.

I commit to collecting data at least once a year on:

  1. The diversity of people throughout our company;

  2. The inclusion experience of different groups of people throughout our company.

2. STRATEGY

Diversity and Inclusion initiatives are most effective when treated as a business imperative, leading to positive outcomes across the business. A data-led and evidence-based strategy will enable us to deliver the changes we want to see in our company.

I commit to:

  1. Crafting and implementing a data-led and evidence-based strategy to improve diversity and inclusion throughout our company at least once a year;

  2. Communicating our data and strategy with our entire team at least once a year.

 

3. LEADERSHIP

While Diversity and Inclusion is an area where everyone will contribute, leaders should be accountable for educating themselves, upskilling their teams and role-modelling good behaviour, as well as taking responsibility for delivering the strategy.

I commit to:

  1. Learning about Diversity and Inclusion as a wider societal issue, including concepts of unconscious bias, privilege, the experiences of others different to me and inclusive leadership;

  2. Holding everyone, including myself and other leaders across the company, accountable for aligning our actions with our inclusive processes and behaviours.

 

4. CULTURE

An environment that allows all individuals to succeed, feel valued, accepted and supported, will enable us to build a more successful, sustainable and impactful company. 

I commit to:

  1. Creating a culture where everyone, no matter their identity or background, can feel valued, accepted and supported;

  2. Building fair and inclusive processes to allow any person to access opportunities that enable them to succeed and thrive in our company.
